A logistics and recruitment service is seeking a Warehouse Operative for their Daventry team. The role involves using a counterbalance fork lift truck for loading and unloading, picking items according to kitting lists, and maintaining a clean workplace. Candidates must hold a clean UK driving license and counterbalance certification. Benefits include pension, eye care support, and 33 days of holiday. An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join our clients team in Daventry.
- Use counterbalance FLT for loading/unloading vehicles/stores - up to date counterbalance certification is essential.
- Book in items received using a computer system - number and computer literacy essential.
- Pick items from stores according to kitting list.
- Drive the company vehicles - up to 3.5 tonne - Clean UK driving license essential.
- Assist with stock checks and stock investigations.
- Help keep the workplace safe, clean and tidy.
- Work with rest of the team, and provide holiday or other cover.
- Other work as required.
- Adhere to health and safety and environmental requirements.
We require a strong team player with a can do attitude, and exceptional organisation skills. An eye for detail is very important as standards are set high by the customer. You must be flexible in your approach, willing to take on other tasks, and be responsive to changing demands and situations.
