Warehouse Operative – Waltham Abbey, Essex

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for a client’s engineering company specialising in battery changing stations for MHE equipment.

Pay & Hours

Pay: £12.21 per hour.

Full‑time role working a 4‑on‑4‑off rota (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off).

Shift times: 6 am – 6 pm or 6 pm – 6 am.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe removal of discharged batteries from forklifts or other MHE equipment
• Battery charging and maintenance
• MHE support and coordination
• Battery handling and replacement procedures
• Battery charging system operation
• Preventive maintenance of battery equipment

Qualifications & Experience

• Reliable, hardworking and adaptable.
• Previous MHE experience (in‑house training accepted).
• Knowledge of material handling equipment operations.
• Understanding of safety protocols and compliance in battery operations.
