Rate of Pay: up to £15 per hour
Location: Royal Opera House, WC2E 9DD
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Provide information on menu items, including allergies, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and properly stored.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with serving techniques and food safety, such allergies practices is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in kitchen or culinary roles would be advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables at once.
- A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences.
