Job summary
A childcare provider in Hampstead seeks a nanny who is a fluent Russian speaker. Responsibilities include assisting with the care of a newborn and a 2-year-old, providing indoor and outdoor activities, preparing snacks, and maintaining hygiene. An enhanced DBS check and first aid certificate are essential. This part-time role offers £12 net per hour.
Qualifications
- Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or on the update service.
- First aid certificate required.
- UK reference compulsory.
- Must be a fluent Russian speaker.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with the children and family in Russian.
- Provide indoor activities and supervise playdates.
- Prepare healthy snacks and assist with hygiene.
- Maintain a clean environment for the children.
Skills
Education
Location: Hampstead
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 9am-3pm (Hours might be extended in the future)
Children: 2 years old and a newborn
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £12 net per hour
- Fluent Russian speaker, with the ability to communicate with the children and family in Russian.
- Spend time outdoors when possible; the older child goes to Hampstead Heath daily.
- Provide indoor activities such as reading and playing; arrange and supervise playdates when allowed.
- Prepare healthy snacks and lunch for the children.
- Help to setting up post-lunch nap routine.
- Washing and dressing the children; changing nappies and assisting with potty training.
- Maintain a clean environment; keep children’s rooms tidy and toys/clothing tidied away.
- Some washing and ironing of children’s clothes; assist mum with the newborn baby.
- Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or on the update service.
- First aid certificate.
- UK reference.
- Must be a Russian speaker.
