A global risk management company is seeking a Global Head of Technical Claims & Exposure Management to drive consistency in claims practices and develop insights across geographies. The role offers flexible working arrangements and requires strong leadership skills, extensive claims experience, and the ability to collaborate with international teams. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Administrative Officer & Global Chief Claims Officer. This is a senior position focused on managing complex claims within a dynamic environment, allowing for some international travel.

As Global Head of Technical Claims & Exposure Management, you will, in collaboration with the Business Unit Chief Claims Officers, their teams and Claim Practice leaders, drive consistency in claims practices, particularly around large losses and cat events, develop and share a global view of the claim exposures, the portfolio and trends with the wider business, communicating insights and experiences across products and geographies, and identify claims trends and insights and partner with all relevant stakeholders to take appropriate actions.
You will be part of the Claims Leadership Team, actively contributing to wider claims initiatives. You will also be the principal Claims Stakeholder partner for other functions such as GCUO, AFR and Ceded Re.
The role is open to candidates from all locations with home office location to be agreed. The scope is worldwide therefore a flexible approach is required. There will be some international travel and work outside of normal office hours may be required given multiple time zones.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
You will report to the Chief Administrative Officer & Global Chief Claims Officer.
Reporting directly into this role will be three Global Practice leaders and two colleagues focused on Exposure management and reporting.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $275,000 to $325,000 USD.
AXA XL is a global Company.The salary range noted above is applicable only for US applicants.
Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
