This role manages the logistics of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and their office. This role provides significant exposure to activities at an executive level, and an opportunity to manage a number of key business processes and activities on behalf of the CIO.

Executive Assistants regularly engage with Senior Leaders at local, regional and global level on matters of strategic importance (and in many cases of a highly confidential / sensitive nature) making this an interesting and critical role for RSA.

You'll Make an Impact By
  • Dealing with matters arising with incoming information and communication on behalf of the CHRO, either responding or re‑directing, or passing them on to the CPO or the Business Manager with accompanying notes, briefing materials or recommendations.
  • Facilitating effective and collaborative business relationships between the CHRO, CHROLT, the Business Manager, Executive team, the Board, external parties and their EAs.
  • Collating crucial business presentations, communications and reports, utilising accurate data collection, and knowledge of business processes and priorities, with additional focus on delivery timelines for key papers, whilst ensuring the CHRO is fully briefed and prepared for all meetings.
  • Proactive and extensive diary management, including travel and external meetings.
  • Processing expense claims for CHRO and review expense claims received for approval, ensuring they are within policy.
  • Arrange and manage the logistical arrangements for all domestic and international travel in respect of site visits, meetings and all other commitments relating to the business.
  • Organising the efficient day‑to‑day running of the CHRO office, in line with the Executive’s needs.
  • Planning activities / social events and carrying them through effectively on time and on budget.
  • Booking team events and off‑site meetings ensuring all aspects of the events are carefully thought out and executed.
Your Skills and Experience

You are a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can manage multiple priorities with ease, are proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have an exceptional eye for detail.

Discreet and professional, you handle sensitive information with confidence. Your “can‑do” attitude allows you to thrive under pressure, while your considerable interpersonal and stakeholder management skills enable you to build positive relationships from Board level to colleagues across the PA community.
