• This role is a Full-Time position with only 1 in 6 Saturdays, giving you a fantastic work/life balance.

• Fantastic salary with rates from £30,000 - £37,000 for an experienced RVN and up to £40,000 for an experienced HRVN (depending on hours and experience).
• This role has excellent career progression available with progression for someone looking for that step into management; however, if you are an experienced Head RVN, this is a real opportunity for you to shape the standards and there is the potential opportunity of ownership within the practice!

Colne Vets for Pets is located in the Pets at Home store, it’s an exciting time to join us, with a recent expansion to 4/5 consult rooms, a dental and imaging suite, a separate induction area, prep room and lab room, a large colleague space, and a quiet waiting area. This is to support our colleagues, patients, and work towards becoming a Fear Free practice.

We are on the edge of town, with the M65 and train station only ¼ of a mile from the practice. So, if you’re ready for your next move and this role sounds like a great fit for your career aspirations, then we’d love to hear from you!

This position is a perfect role for a Head Nurse who is looking for a new challenge to support a team of 5 Vets, 4 RVNs including a deputy HRVN, and 5 VCAs. However, we are also open to progression for the right candidate and can provide an opportunity for an experienced RVN who is ready to take on more responsibility and develop into our future Head Nurse.

We’re seeking someone who brings a wealth of experience as an RVN, ideally with previous leadership experience as a Head RVN. The right candidate will have outstanding communication and client care skills, a collaborative, team-oriented approach, and the confidence to support and guide others as the team continues to grow. A passion for diverse caseloads and working closely with colleagues is a must.

We can have excellent career progression available for an RVN to grow into a Head RVN role or a Head RVN to develop further with the potential opportunity of ownership in practice!
