Job summary
A UK-based recruitment consultancy is looking for an individual to operate an effluent treatment plant ensuring environmental compliance. The role involves managing chemical stocks, performing maintenance on HVAC and other systems, and conducting safety checks. Candidates should have an NVQ/C&G in a relevant discipline, experience in Site Services or Utilities, and basic maintenance skills. This position promotes health & safety standards and encourages continuous improvement in operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Site Services, Utilities, or Facilities.
- Basic mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain effluent treatment plant, ensuring environmental compliance.
- Manage chemical stocks and schedule by-product collections.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, boilers, compressors, refrigeration systems.
- Conduct fire safety checks, Legionella flushing, and maintain compliance records.
- Support health & safety standards and promote continuous improvement.
