Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Expedite Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of products. This role involves acting as a liaison between customers, production, and logistics teams, requiring strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Competitive salary up to £27,000 annually.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and lead times is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and expedite requests.
- Monitor and track customer orders throughout the production lifecycle to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with production planning, purchasing, and logistics to identify and resolve potential delays.
- Prioritize and elevate urgent orders, ensuring internal stakeholders are aligned on delivery commitments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of order progress and customer communications in ERP and Customer systems.
- Generate and distribute regular reports on order status, backlog, and expedite performance.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently, ensuring resolution and follow-up.

Monday to Thursday – 8.15am – 5pm
Friday – 8am – 1pm
Up to £27,000.00 per year
