A national public health agency in the UK is seeking a communications professional to manage partnerships and support public health communications strategies. The role involves developing campaigns, evaluating communications efforts, and ensuring impactful communication. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving change in public health and experience in developing communications plans. Flexible working arrangements are available.
Working with the Communications and Engagement Manager and Engagement lead, you'll help manage partnerships with key stakeholders including those with lived experience, develop compelling campaigns informed by behavioural science, and undertake robust evaluations of our communications activities.

Wales has the highest prevalence of diabetes in the UK, with over 220,000 people living with the condition - projected to reach one in 11 adults by 2035. The Tackling Diabetes Together Programme brings together NHS Wales, clinicians, third-sector partners and communities to drive urgent, system-wide change in diabetes prevention and care.

The salary scale shown is for a full‑time member of staff, with the amount being adjusted pro rata for those working less than 37.5 hours per week. In general, anyone joining our Trust who has not previously worked in the NHS will, by default, start on the first point of the advertised pay band. Pay progression will then be determined by annual Performance and Development Reviews in accordance with the NHS Wales Pay Progression Policy. An application for Incremental Credit may be considered, but can only be awarded based on evidenced, reckonnable service and/or equivalent, relevant experience.
