As the first point of contact to visitors, and employees you will:

Responsibilities
  • Greet and manage all visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome
  • Operate and manage the telephone system, maintain local telephone directories and signing‑in procedures.
  • Perform general administrative tasks including photocopying, typing, room bookings and conference arrangements
  • Control access to secure areas and manage security passes
  • Act as a key contact point for customer liaison and fault reporting
  • Have responsibility for unlocking the building
Attendance

20 hours per week, Monday to Friday initially 07:00 - 11:00, with a future attendance requirement to cover 06.30-10.30. A degree of flexibility with your attendance is needed. During periods of annual leave, you will be required to cover the afternoon reception duties until 18:00.

Requirements
  • Previous receptionist, admin and customer facing experience
  • First aid trained/SIA licence or a willingness to undertake training
  • Experienced in MS Office and email systems
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
  • Flexibility with attendance and able to cover the afternoon reception duties (until 18:00) during annual leave periods
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
