Job summary
A community-focused educational organization in Batley is looking for passionate SEND Tutors and Teachers to support vulnerable young learners. The role involves providing in-person, hybrid, and online tutoring in core subjects like Maths, English, and Science. Candidates should have a Qualified Teacher Status and a strong commitment to transforming the lives of at-risk students. Qualifications
- 2+ years teaching experience, preferably with SEND and SEMH.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
- Experience in a holistic, trauma-informed approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tutoring for children with SEND needs.
- Deliver flexible and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
- Plan lessons and report on student progress.
