A leading MEP contractor is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Central London.

The main objective of the role is to deliver a portfolio of MEP packages for major construction projects across multiple sectors in Greater London.

Key duties will include:

• Developing and implementing pre and post contract strategies, whilst also taking ownership of commercial functions and contract reporting.
• Responsibility for work packages and projects, whilst also working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.
• Taking ownership of subcontract packages, whilst demonstrating an understanding of the implementation of internal and external tender strategies.
• Contributing to relevant project procurement strategies with particular focus on the issuing of tender enquiries, package reconciliations and production of subcontract orders
• Working with the Commercial Lead to agree main and subcontract final accounts.
• Delivering day-to-day commercial activities with a firm focus on added value, compliance, commercial viability, and best practice.

Responsible for a portfolio of MEP projects across Greater London, with MEP package values ranging from £10m up to £60m.

Delivering MEP works for a broad range of clients covering both the private and public sectors. Overall project values range from £50m up to £100m+.

The role will involve a combination of office based work and weekly site visits across the region.

Our client is looking for Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move. They are also keen to see experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression.

Minimum of 3+ years' commercial experience supporting the delivery of MEP packages or projects within the construction or infrastructure sector.

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and clients.
