We are working with a well-established structural and civil engineering consultancy in Kent who are seeking an experienced Structural Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of high-profile projects across the UK, including large retail, medical, and some residential developments with values up to £150m. The successful Structural Technician will play a key role in supporting the design team by producing accurate technical drawings, models, and documentation, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards. - Produce detailed structural drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist engineers with the preparation of calculations, schedules, and technical documentation.
- Work on projects across multiple sectors including retail, healthcare, commercial, and residential.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and buildable designs.
- Carry out site visits and surveys as required to support design development.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and quality requirements.
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering (or relevant discipline).
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit Structures highly desirable.
- Background in preparing structural GA drawings, RC detailing, and steelwork fabrication drawings.
- Understanding of UK building regulations and Eurocodes.
- Previous experience working within a consultancy environment on Retail projects.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
