Job summary
A modern dental practice in Manchester is seeking an experienced Associate Dentist for a fully private, short-term maternity cover from April to June 2026. The role offers flexibility with surgery days and requires a minimum of 4 years' experience in private dentistry, including proficiency in restorative and cosmetic work. A valid GDC number and a strong clinical portfolio are essential. The practice prides itself on its supportive team culture and commitment to high standards.
Qualifications

Maternity Cover Dates: April 2026 – June 2026
Contract: Self-employed / Associate
Type: Fully Private List
Established patient list
Hours: Up to 5 days per week available.
Available Surgery days: (Flexibility to whatever of these days suit you)
- Monday: 9am-6pm
- Tuesday: 9am-6pm
- Wednesday: 9am-6pm
- Thursday: 9am-6pm
- Friday: 8am-2pm
Private Fee: 45% split
Lab Bills: 50% split
We're Looking For:
An enthusiastic, experienced private dentist with a passion for cosmetic and advanced restorative dentistry who will complement our forward thinking, positive, and supportive team culture.
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in private dentistry
- Valid GDC number
- Ideally someone with a professional social media/Instagram presence
- Clinical Portfolio required on application showcasing your clinical work
- Experience in Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry essential
- Actively invested in continued postgraduate development - Postgraduate training or diploma desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
- Comfortable in a multidisciplinary environment
