Job summary
A leading environmental consultancy is looking for an Asbestos Surveyor to conduct surveys nationwide. The ideal candidate should hold a BOHS P402 certification and have at least 12 months of field experience. Responsibilities include conducting various surveys, compiling comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance with UKAS standards. The role offers competitive salary up to £40,000 and requires flexibility to commute for projects across the UK.

My client is a multidisciplinary, independent environmental consultancy that has been working in the UK and Northern Ireland for over 15 years. They are a licensed removals contractor and have UKAS accreditations in testing and inspection.
Over the next 24 months the business needs an abundance of resources to support a wide portfolio of national commercial contracts. The contracts for asbestos surveying span nationwide, so location is not an issue if you are not from Dartford.

- BOHS P402 certification with a minimum of 12 months field experience
- Experience of working on projects in the domestic sectors
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to commute and complete out of hours/weekend work
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Conducting Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of properties in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors
- Compiling comprehensive reports to be sent to clients
- Ensuring all work carried out is to UKAS standards and in line with HSG:264
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting with any queries and providing technical support
