A community support organization based in the UK is seeking a Family Support Worker to assist individuals in contact with the criminal justice system. The role requires excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, along with the ability to engage children in playwork. This is an exciting time for our organisation. As part of our growth plan and our continued retention of key contracts with Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) we are now recruiting an additional Family Support Worker resource at HMP North Sea Camp.
We aim at all times to attain best safeguarding practice throughout all of our Services. The post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check with child barred list and prison vetting.
Lincolnshire Action Trust (LAT) is a registered charity that works with individuals who are in contact with the criminal justice system across Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. The main focus of our work is resettlement and rehabilitation including employability, accommodation, finance and debt and work with children and families. Over 20,000 clients access our services each year and volunteers are a valuable element of LAT's support for individuals involved in the criminal justice system.
