Job summary
A reputable electronics manufacturer in Cirencester is seeking a skilled Wave Soldering Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flow soldering and be proficient in hand component placement. Responsibilities include operating soldering machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring quality standards. This role offers flexible hours from Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in flow soldering is essential.
- Skilled in hand component placement, cropping, and flow solder machine operation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Perform flow soldering and hand placement of components.
- Crop and operate flow solder machines efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Monitor machine performance throughout production runs.
- Load and unload PCBs before and after soldering.
- Inspect solder joints to ensure quality standards are met.
- Record inspection results and maintain production documentation.
