Night Shift Train Cleaner
Location: Allerton Depot, Liverpool
Pay: £13.05 per hour, plus overtime opportunities

• On the 20:15–05:00 night shifts (4 on 4 off / 5 on 3 off), you will be part of the team that transforms trains overnight, ready for thousands of passengers the next day.
• Instead of sitting behind a desk, your work keeps you active and hands-on, with every shift bringing visible results.
• Step off shift knowing you have prepared a spotless, safe, and welcoming train that will directly impact people’s journeys the following morning.

• Work with a close-knit team where no two nights are the same, sometimes handling detailed deep cleans and other times quick turnarounds to get trains back into service.
• Ensure trains are cleaned to high standards and ready for service each shift.

• Play a vital role in shaping passenger experience by ensuring trains are spotless and ready for service.
• Stay active and engaged with varied cleaning tasks, from vacuuming and mopping to sanitising restrooms and touchpoints, including full and deep cleans.
• Gain hands-on experience in the rail industry, a sector offering long-term stability, skills development, and career progression.

• A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliability, enthusiasm, and the determination to see tasks through.
• Previous experience in transportation cleaning, industrial environments, or housekeeping is helpful but not essential - full training and PPE are provided.
• Physical capability to manage equipment and remain active throughout your shift.
