Job summary
A residential care home in Welwyn Garden City is seeking an Assistant Manager to support home management and provide direct care to residents. The role includes supervising staff and ensuring the home operates at a high standard. This position offers an opportunity to work within a compassionate team, with a focus on maintaining quality care for residents. Exact pay to be discussed at interview, with a permanent contract of 40 hours including alternate weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager and Deputy Manager in home operations.
- Supervise staff members.
- Directly care for residents on a daily basis.
We are looking for an Assistant Manager who will support the home manager and Deputy Manager in the running of the home and work in a direct care capacity on a day-to-day basis. Ensuring the home is operating to a high standard, including maintaining adequate staffing and implementation of staff training.
