Senior Consultant Psychiatrist: Lead Community MH Team
Job summary
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist to provide clinical expertise and leadership within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will manage complex patients, provide supervision, and liaise with various health professionals. This role offers an opportunity to impact mental health services in the community. Applications from Welsh and English speakers are encouraged.
Qualifications
- Experience in psychiatry with comprehensive training.
- Experience in acting as s12(2) doctor or Responsible Clinician required.
- Management and administration experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise and leadership to a multidisciplinary mental health team.
- Manage a caseload of stable and complex patients.
- Provide medical liaison and advice to Primary Mental Health Support Service.
