A leading rail company in London is seeking a Fleet Contracts Manager to oversee rolling stock fleet contracts. The role demands a high degree of independence, ensuring compliance with engineering needs and facilitating negotiations with suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a related field and have experience in the rail sector, particularly in managing procurement and contracts. Role Type: Permanent
This is an exciting time to join a busy rail company to manage rolling stock fleet contracts. This role has a high level of independence and responsibility overseeing contractual management of all engineering services across the designated fleet.
You will be responsible for ensuring engineering needs of the fleet are met – either via enforcing existing contractual agreements, sourcing and negotiating new supplier agreements or pursuing options within existing contracts.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including engineering services companies, manufacturers and regulatory bodies, to ensure engineering needs are met.
Understand and translate practical engineering needs from the internal end users to viable commercial contracts with suppliers.
Collaborate with commercial, legal and procurement teams where needed on new contracts sourcing / negotiation.
