Overview

Procurement and Supply Chain Planner

Location : Wednesbury, On-site, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)

Salary : Up to £45,000 plus benefits

Reports to : Head of Procurement

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-driven Procurement and Supply Chain Planner to join their growing team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and timely supply of direct materials across two operational sites.

You will work closely with suppliers, hauliers, production, planning, and procurement to maintain strong supply performance and excellent contract execution.

This position offers real variety—from supplier engagement and scheduling support to problem-solving, reporting, and acting as a trusted deputy to the Head of Procurement.

Role

As Procurement and Supply Chain Planner, you will build strong relationships with suppliers, lead regular weekly reviews, and ensure their delivery performance supports operational needs. You will support the schedulers with daily tasks, provide guidance and training, and help maintain accurate SOPs and planning data.
