A logistics company in England is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations and ensure efficiency in goods handling. Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of goods in / goods out operations.
- Experience overseeing loading activities and yard operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Good IT skills (Sage and Microsoft packages preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organising, and controlling warehouse operations.
- Set up and structure daily shifts to meet operational requirements.
- Lead daily team talks with warehouse supervisors and operatives.
- Ensure daily FLT first-use check sheets are completed.
- Promote and maintain a safe, compliant working environment.
