Job description

Thrive Group Skelmersdale are looking for Manufacturing Production Operatives to work for our client based in Skelmersdale on a temp to perm basis starting from 7th January 2025 for the right candidates.

Job Role:

• Working on an injection moulding machine or completing assembly on a work bench
• To meet set production targets
• Finish parts in line with given methods
• Quality check of products
• Prepare packing materials
• Rework incorrect items
• Maintain high levels of health and safety at all times
• Any other duties where required

It would be highly desirable to come from an injection moulding background and / or have worked within previous manufacturing companies working on machines.

Hours of work:

It is a 3-shift rotation as follows (1 week of each in the below order):

Mon - Fri - #removed#

Sun-Thurs - 2300 - 0700

Mon - Thurs - 1500 - 2300 & Friday #removed#

Pay Rate:

£13.06 per hour - this includes an attendance bonus.

If you do not complete all shifts within the month your pay rate will be £12.21 per hour.

Overtime paid at 1.5 (£18.32) over basic hours of 36.6 and x 2 (£24.42) on Friday night.

Duration of the role:

12 weeks temp to perm for the right candidates.

Selection process:

You will spend a day with our client completing a selection and induction process and they will select suitable candidates to start on a temp to perm contract.

Start Date:

The selection process will start on Wednesday 7th January and if successful, you will complete a days training on Friday 9th January before your shift pattern begins.
