Dental Nurse Apprenticeship
Job summary
A local dental clinic in the United Kingdom is offering a 12-month apprenticeship in dental nursing. Candidates will assist dentists, prepare and sterilize equipment, and perform various reception duties. This program is government-funded and allows successful applicants to gain a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing. The role requires some evening and weekend work depending on the rota, providing excellent exposure to dental practices.
Qualifications
- A Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing is required.
- Experience in assisting dentists and supporting patient experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures.
- Sterilize and prepare dental equipment.
- Perform reception duties.
The apprenticeship in dental nursing is a 12-month government-funded course by City & Guilds, a Level 3 Extended Diploma. Alongside your learning, your job role within the practice will entail assisting dentists, sterilising & preparing equipment, reception duties and supporting patient experience.
