A leading engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electrical CAD Designer for a hybrid position based in Warrington. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical CAD design with relevant education and must be SC clearable. Responsibilities include creating designs for nuclear engineering projects, adhering to specific standards, and maintaining documentation. This role offers a dynamic work environment with varied projects in civil nuclear construction and defense.
Qualifications
- Background in electrical CAD with mainstream software.
- Formal education via apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or degree is necessary.
- Ability to become SC clearable for eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Create designs and drawings at various design lifecycle stages.
- Adhere to nuclear and defense standards in all designs.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation while collaborating with stakeholders.
