The Hospital-based Violence Intervention Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for programmatic oversight and management of a multi-disciplinary hospital-based violence intervention program dedicated to reducing re-injury and mortality rates among youth and adults. The program coordinator will develop a trauma-informed program that incorporates social determinants of health.

Located in Norfolk, VA, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that houses the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads. It serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School. The hospital offers high-quality programs including cardiology, neurosciences, neurosurgery, urology, oncology, spine care, advanced imaging, behavioral health, maternity, and women’s health, including a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit.
