We are looking for a dedicated Signature Management Engineer to join a dynamic team within the defence / maritime sector. No previous experience in signature management is required. We are seeking skilled Systems Engineers & Electrical Engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Help lead the design and development efforts for new equipment, using your expertise to craft innovative solutions that meet our high standards for quality and performance.
• Contribute to the improvement of existing products by providing insightful modifications and updates, ensuring our offerings remain at the forefront of technology.
• Create comprehensive technical specifications, conduct thorough analysis, and define rigorous testing requirements that underpin the design process.
• Offer hands-on support during the build process, ensuring that your designs are translated into functional equipment accurately.
• Lead system integration, meticulously testing and accepting the equipment to guarantee its reliability and efficacy.
• Foster strong collaborations with suppliers and sub-contractors, maintaining open communication to ensure seamless project progression.

Qualifications / Skills required

• A minimum of a HND in electrical engineering or systems engineering is required.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of high integrity design processes and techniques.
• Possess broad knowledge of engineering disciplines, including systems and mechanical engineering.
• Exhibit strong communication skills.
• Have a profound understanding of design lifecycle processes, from gated design phases to reviews.
• Be confident in customer-facing interactions, delivering presentations and engaging with clients.

Desirable:

• Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment is advantageous.
• Experience in the Naval / Maritime domain is advantageous.
• No previous experience in signature management is required but would be an advantage.
