The Role

This role sits in the Founder’s Office and works directly with the Founder and CEO across strategy, research, investment work, and operational execution.

It is designed for someone who wants genuine exposure to early-stage company building. You will work on investor materials, market analysis, competitive research, operational planning, and high leverage special projects.

The work is varied. Some days you will be analysing market data or preparing investor briefs; other days you will be structuring priorities, validating product decisions, or helping drive clarity across the organisation. The common thread is ownership, judgment, and strong analytical thinking.

What You Will Do

• Analyse markets, competitors, and adjacent categories to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare investor materials and maintain clear, data-backed fundraising narratives.
• Build research briefs before investor conversations and synthesize insights afterward.
• Interpret product usage data and identify actionable growth levers.
• Assist in shaping internal strategy documents and planning cycles.
• Support priority setting, OKR tracking, and cross-functional alignment.
• Prepare models, dashboards, or quick data summaries that guide decision-making.
• Organise high context company information and documentation in Notion.
• Translate broad ideas into structured options with risks, tradeoffs, and clear next steps.

Who You Are

• Strong analytical foundation; comfortable structuring ambiguous problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator; able to convey ideas clearly.
• Comfortable with research, modelling, and narrative building.
• Curious about AI, venture capital, marketplaces, and talent systems.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented; you aim for clarity, not complexity.
• Calm under pressure with strong upward communication.
• High ownership; motivated by hard problems and real responsibility.
• AI native; fluent with modern tools such as ChatGPT, Notion, Sheets, and Slides.

Backgrounds that fit well include:
