Sales Manager - Omoda & Jaecoo

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Vospers for a Sales Manager to join our Omoda and Jaecoo franchise at Marsh Mills, Plymouth. This is an excellent career progression opportunity for an experienced Senior Sales Executive or Sales Controller ready to take the next step into management with a forward-thinking automotive group.

Omoda and Jaecoo are two rapidly growing automotive brands backed by Chery International, one of the largest and longest-established vehicle manufacturers and exporters in the world. Together they form a dual-brand strategy aimed at expanding Cherys global footprint in the competitive SUV and electrified vehicle market.

Launched internationally only in 2023, these brands have quickly expanded into over 30+ countries including the UK, Europe, Middle East and Southeast Asia, with strong global sales growth and ambitious dealer network plans.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving performance, leading a high-performing sales team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for developing sales strategy, managing stock, and ensuring the successful launch and growth of the Omoda & Jaecoo brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Omoda & Jaecoo Sales Executives
  • Maintain and continuously improve customer service standards
  • Manage the sourcing, acquisition, and allocation of new vehicles
  • Plan and deliver promotions and sales events
  • Set, review, and audit sales targets and business performance
  • Build and execute a clear sales strategy aligned with business goals
About You

Were looking for someone who brings energy, leadership and commercial focus to the role:

  • Extensive experience in automotive or retail sales
  • Previous leadership or management experience
  • Management qualifications (desirable but not essential)
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Hours of Work

41.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm (4 weekdays)

Saturday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Salary & Benefits

Up to £35,000 basic salary, with OTE up to £57,000 based on KPIs
