Are you an established Health & Safety partner looking to join a City‑led international firm’s national practice? Our client is seeking a Partner to lead high‑quality advisory work for social housing providers, private‑sector landlords, and clients across the Built Environment sector. This is your opportunity to work on cutting‑edge Building Safety legislation, lead complex compliance matters, and drive business development in a growing practice area with excellent support and infrastructure.
As a Partner you’ll join a national Health & Safety team based in Manchester that works across four UK offices. The team works flexibly both remotely and in office supporting clients and projects throughout the country.
You will lead the non‑contentious aspects of health and safety law for social housing, private‑sector landlords, developers, contractors and consultants, covering statutory compliance, Building Safety legislation, and health, safety and environmental due diligence. You will also drive business development, build and maintain key client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of the practice.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Qualified solicitor at partner level with substantial post‑qualification experience in non‑contentious Health and Safety work.
Proven ability to lead and manage complex matters independently, strong client focus, commercial awareness, technical skills, and innovative application.
Excellent leadership, ability to work flexibly, substantial client management experience, demonstrable track record in origination and business development.
Strong academic record, methodical, disciplined and organised approach, ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
Proven experience or track record in Building Safety legislation, advising social housing providers, private‑sector landlords, fire safety, asbestos, legionella, contaminated land, health safety and environmental due diligence, crisis management, thought leadership and strategic practice development.
