A healthcare provider in England is looking for a dedicated Medical Secretary to join their Community Mental Health Team. This full-time role involves general office duties, including typing medical correspondence and managing administrative tasks. We're seeking someone with experience and enthusiasm who can effectively support patient care through skilled communication and organization. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Mental Health Team for a Medical Secretary working at Central Park Hub, working 37.50 hours per week. Working days will be Monday - Friday.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Secretary who enjoys working as part of a team and can demonstrate a commitment to delivering a high quality medical secretary.
Please note – This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.

The Medical Secretary will undertake general office duties including the typing of medical and other correspondence and actioning any requirements identified within the typing. They will be responsible for the management of administrative duties within their area of work including ensuring the allocation of discharge summaries and their timely completion, updating and circulating the on-call rota as required, answering and managing calls from patients and their carers/relatives and other health and social care professionals. They will be responsible for supporting the Trust in achieving relevant performance targets.
