Job summary
A leading engineering company in Lancashire is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to ensure the production facility's maintenance. This role involves both planned and reactive maintenance, with opportunities for progressive training and development. The ideal candidate will hold relevant engineering qualifications and have strong fault finding abilities. A competitive salary of up to £38,000 is offered for this stable and challenging position.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to conduct fault finding for both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Hold relevant qualifications, particularly NVQ.
- Strong understanding of maintenance practices in engineering.
Responsibilities
- Ensure production facility is maintained effectively.
- Involve in both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Work collaboratively with a team of engineers.
Skills
Mechanical Engineer – Days: Mon/Thu 6:00am to 4:30pm. Salary: up to £38,000.

Reporting directly to the maintenance manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation.
