Opening Paragraph:
You will be delivering telephone appointments and face-to-face sessions in patient homes, clinics, and special schools (and mainstream nurseries/schools if needed), alongside the use of videos submitted by family and occasional video calls where appropriate, to children with eating, drinking, and swallowing needs. There will be training to set you up and access to admin support. There are clearly defined pathways, access to experts, and access to letters and report templates.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for independently managing a varied and complex paediatric dysphagia caseload. This includes conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing advice and support to families and other professionals. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for children with eating, drinking, and swallowing needs. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records and contribute to service development initiatives.
