Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in Nottingham is looking for a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. You will work directly with young people aged 10-18 with complex needs, conducting assessments and delivering tailored interventions. Knowledge of SLCN and previous experience in similar settings are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young people aged 10-18.
- Ability to conduct specialist assessments and deliver tailored interventions.
- Knowledge of SLCN and related conditions.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with young people presenting complex needs.
- Support staff in embedding communication-inclusive approaches.
- Conduct specialized assessments for tailored interventions.
Youll work directly with young people aged 1018, many of whom present with complex presentations, including neurodevelopmental conditions, trauma histories, and speech, language, and communication difficulties (SLCN). You'll conduct specialist assessments, deliver tailored interventions, and support staff to embed communication-inclusive approaches across the service.
