The University is entering an exciting period of growth and development, and is now seeking an exceptional individual to join the senior leadership team as Chief People Officer.

Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor and CEO, the Chief People Officer will sit on the Vice-Chancellor’s Group and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a forward-thinking, people-first strategy across the institution. The new Chief People Officer will act as a key advisor to the Vice-Chancellor, Board of Governors, and senior leaders, providing expert guidance on people-related matters. The postholder will be crucial in fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and inclusion - ensuring the University's values are not only reflected in its policies, but practised throughout the organisation.

We are seeking a visionary strategic HR leader with a substantial track record of success at a senior level within a large and complex organisation. The ideal candidate will be a generalist with a track-record of leading transformational people and culture change, alongside an ability to communicate with clarity, credibility, and authenticity at all levels. Candidates will demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of strategic HR, a collaborative leadership style, and a strong commitment to EDI.
