Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Legal Cashier with strong command of SRA Accounts Rules.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Strong multitasking skills and calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Lead all accounts operations, ensuring full compliance with SRA regulations.
- Report breaches promptly and collaborate on improvements.
- Manage mailbox workflows, delegate tasks and oversee NatWest Bankline usage.
- Address complex finance issues: residual balances, charity donations and SRA protocols.
- Maintain the charities register and secure Undertakings as required.
- Review monthly interest calculations and manage balances exceeding £1,000.
- Oversee the cashroom portal and unclaimed client funds processes.
- Assist in billing, disbursements, reconciliations and month-end reporting.
- Approve payments, support audits and run quarterly reviews.
- Provide mentoring and training to a skilled finance team.
