Corporate Commercial Lawyer – In-House Legal Team (Hybrid, Derbyshire)

Our international client is seeking a Corporate Commercial Lawyer to join their highly respected in‑house legal team. This diverse and engaging role offers exposure to corporate transactions, commercial contract drafting, and a wide range of business‑focused legal work.

The role is based in Derbyshire, with a hybrid working policy requiring 3 days per week in the office.

Ideal Candidate

Be a UK‑qualified solicitor with:

  • Strong academic background and training from a reputable law firm
  • Experience advising on corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and reorganisations
  • A solid grounding in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements
Key Capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, commercial environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A pragmatic, business‑oriented approach to legal advice
Background
  • In‑house experience is desirable, but candidates from private practice with strong commercial exposure and business awareness are also encouraged to apply
