About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a clear focus on Chemistry principles and concepts.
• Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that incorporate practical investigations, data analysis, and real-world applications of chemistry.
• Assess student progress through lab reports, presentations, and written assessments, providing constructive feedback to enhance their understanding of chemistry.
• Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives to promote excellence in science education.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science with a strong background and specialism in Chemistry.
• A good understanding of the secondary science curriculum and effective teaching strategies for Chemistry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex chemical concepts clearly and engagingly.
• Strong practical skills and experience in laboratory work, with a commitment to ensuring student safety.
