Aramark UK are currently recruiting a General Service Assistant in their Defence sector to be a part of our integral team at RAF Boulmer, situated near Alnwick Northumberland.

As a General Assistant you will provide excellent customer service and be required to provide support in a number of areas:

• Front Of House - looking after our customers, setting up prior to food service, serving food and beverages to our customers as well as operating tills.
• Back Of House - providing cleaning and general support in all areas in and around the kitchen department.
• Bar Work - working evening bar shifts in one of 3 bars.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

• We are offering a permanent position. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, through a typical 5 from 7-day system.
• Shift times range from 6am - 8pm (11pm if doing a bar shift).
• The hourly rate is £12.79.

• Serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.
• Setting up and clearing down of all dining areas.
• Cleaning all areas required in and around the kitchen department.
• The cleaning of all crockery, cutlery as well as food cooking equipment and utensils.
• Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly.
• Running a bar, serving drinks, taking payments, general maintenance of the bar and cellar areas, maintaining all necessary records and reports.

• Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
• For this role you must be 18+
• Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role
• Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
