Job Title: Lead Dynamics Business Central Engineer

Location: Coventry (Remote with occasional site visits)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Dynamics Business Central Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional to take ownership of our Business Central systems, play a key role in solution design and delivery, and help shape the future of our ERP landscape.

You will work remotely, with occasional site visits to our Coventry office, leading technical initiatives and collaborating closely with finance and operations stakeholders to deliver scalable and effective solutions.

• Lead the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
• Collaborate with finance, distribution, and operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
• Take ownership of system configuration, customisation, integrations, and performance tuning.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to both internal teams and external partners.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with best practices.
• Support business change initiatives, upgrades, and system migrations.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide 3rd-line support, and deliver long-term improvements.

• Proven experience working as a Dynamics Business Central Engineer/Developer (NAV / Dynamics 365 BC).
• Strong expertise in Financials and Distribution modules.
• Experience with Manufacturing and Warehouse Management modules (desirable).
• Proficiency in AL language, extensions, and integration tools.
• Experience in system upgrades, migrations, and customisation.
• Strong understanding of ERP architecture and business processes.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and translate requirements into effective solutions.
• Previous experience in a lead or senior-level position, taking ownership of projects.
