A leading engineering firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive opportunities in the industrial and civil engineering sectors. This remote role involves engaging with clients, identifying growth prospects, and developing strategic sales plans. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, a proactive approach, and experience in business development or sales within engineering environments. A competitive salary range between £65,000 – £70,000 is offered.

This dual business development role divides time equally between two complementary areas of the business, focusing on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across both disciplines, primarily within the UK market, with some international exposure.
The role requires a professional who can confidently engage with UK-based clients and represent the business as a well-established operator within the UK industrial and construction sectors.
Focus: industrial electromechanical erection and maintenance works, primarily supporting EPC‑led projects within the UK.
Focus: specialist civil engineering works relating to tall concrete structures, predominantly in the UK, with some overseas projects.
Standard working hours are 08:45 to 17:00, with a 45‑minute lunch break. Flexibility is expected to meet business needs.
