Job summary
A prestigious law firm in the UK seeks a junior to mid-level associate to work on CAT bond deals, equity and debt capital markets, and insurance-linked securities. This role requires enthusiasm to learn and develop within the financial sector, with opportunities to work on complex transactions and UK/US elements. Competitive compensation is offered.
Qualifications
- Junior to mid-level associate position with exposure to complex financial transactions.
- Experience with UK/European and US capital markets preferred.
- Strong desire to learn and develop skills in the financial sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist in CAT bond deals and debt capital markets transactions.
- Work on insurance-linked securities transactions.
- Support equity capital market deals.
Skills
Our client, a prestigious NY heavyweight is actively seeking a junior to mid level associate with exposure to working on (i) CAT bond deals; (ii) equity capital markets (UK, US and European); (ii) debt capital markets (High Yield and investment grade); and (iii) insurance-linked securities transactions (insurance securitisations).
Applicants should have an enthusiasm to learn about insurance-linked securities. Experience of particular note would be assisting on equity stock exchange listings (in London and/or New York) and high yield DCM transactions. Candidates should be keen to develop experience on matters with both UK/European and US elements.
