Overview

my client a leading UK based Developer is looking to add to the successful commercial team on this £75 million residential scheme in Hampshire. Joining the commercial team at the mid-way stage of the project you will be working with the existing team to help deliver the project which is underway.

Responsibilities

• carrying out financial and contractual tasks on assigned contracts to enable cost monitoring
• assisting with income and cash flow reporting aligned to deadlines
• Procurement
• collating info for financial progress reports
• subcontract management
• supplier payments management
• managing financial and commercial expectations
• collating information for internal and external valuations
• recording contractual disputes
• Attend commercial pre-start and progress meetings
• Provide monthly reporting information
• assisting with Final Accounting

About the Company / Project

One of the Top innovative developers in the UK with a turnover of £300 Million in 2024 and a leading provider for the built environment working in housing, mixed use and refurbishment/change of use projects from commercial to residential. Based initially in Southampton on the project and with ongoing work in the Hampshire area as they expand in the south. You will be working with the Senior Quantity Surveyor within the team to deliver the project on time and to budget.

Requirements

Candidates must:

• Have experience of working for developers/contractors in the UK on JCT forms of contract
• Have a good understanding of takes-offs and materials buying / labour-only packages
• Hold or be working toward a construction / design related professional qualification - HNC/HND/Degree
