Global Talent Acquisition at Valsoft Corporation and Aspire Software

Valsoft Corporation is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our growing team in the UK!

As an HRBP for our global organization, you will be responsible for all HR aspects related to the regional leaders you will be partnering with closely. The role will be reporting to the local operations leader and working closely with our global HR team to achieve business initiatives.

The HRBP will partner closely with local leadership to achieve regional business initiatives, ensure day-to-day support, and lead strategic ongoing projects. This includes leading the HR integration of new company acquisitions for the region, starting in the HR due diligence stage. To be successful in this role, the HRBP must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that drives the business. The HRBP will help business leaders foresee challenges using data-driven recommendations for innovative and scalable solutions, as well as iterating on current programs to improve staffing performance, retention, and employee experience. We are looking for someone comfortable with ambiguity and eager to be challenged as we collaborate closely to build processes and further structure our HR department!

The role has the potential for direct HR reports in alignment with the local business needs as our company continues to grow in the region.

Here is a little window into our company: Valsoft acquires and develops vertical market software companies, enabling each business to deliver the best mission-critical solutions for customers in their respective industries or niche. A key tenet of Valsoft's philosophy is to invest in well-established businesses and foster an entrepreneurial environment that molds companies into leaders in their respective industries. Valsoft looks to buy, hold and create value through long-term partnerships with existing management. Valsoft has grown to 120+ companies with 3,000+ employees in 20+ countries. In 2023, Great Place to Work named Valsoft one of the best workplaces in the financial services industry.

Our motto is "Be Humble, Stay Hungry!"

The successful candidate will be based anywhere in the UK, working in a remote work model!

What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Manage all internal HR-related matters for the regional business portfolio
  • Collaborate closely with managers and employees to implement HR programs and initiatives for the region
  • Participate in regulating and improving organizational HR guidelines and procedures
  • Lead engagement strategies to motivate employees and increase retention
  • Lead high-level HR employment issues and investigations
  • Manage local employee development plans, talent, and performance management
  • Partner in the areas of workforce planning and organizational design
  • Partner with local leaders to strategize continuous improvement for HR and present HR initiatives as a business partner in operations and finance meetings
  • Act as HR Integrations lead for acquisitions in your business portfolio in the areas of due diligence, HRIS integration, staffing movement, employee file transfer, new employee change management and full onboarding process
  • Coach business managers in employee management
  • Oversee and lead the local recruitment process with assistance from the global recruitment team
  • Issuing employment offers, contracts, and staffing movement documentation
  • Manage the employee database and prepare general HR data reports

About You

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is essential
  • 8+ years of experience in an HR professional role is essential
  • Certification CIPD level 5 or above is an advantage
  • High level of HR and business acumen
  • Knowledge of British employment laws and work council is mandatory, and knowledge of European, US and Canadian laws is highly advantageous
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and conflicting opinions in order to facilitate the best decisions for employees and the business in an environment of ambiguity and rapid change
  • Experience coaching senior leaders and managers
  • Self-starter, able to work both independently as well as an active member of both business and HR teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to prepare high-quality documents as well as present and facilitate group meetings and events
  • Project management skills, ability to lead projects, gain buy-in and drive to execution and achievement of the right results
