Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is looking for an experienced Data Analyst for a 12-month remote contract in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in quantitative interpretations, specifically in Exploration or Development. Proficiency in machine learning and AI applications is essential. Collaboration with international teams is required, with standard work hours set within EU time zones.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quantitative Interpretations for Exploration or Development.
- Preference for experience with IOC / NOC companies.
- Experience in ML/AI applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Exploration/Development teams on AI-assisted seismic fluid/reservoir detection.
- Integrate results into analysis.
Skills
Outside of IR35
Looking for a contractor with a background in the Oil & Gas Industry, specifically in Exploration or Geophysics, involving quantitative interpretations for Exportation or Development.
Experience working with Machine Learning and AI is required. The role involves collaborating with Exploration/Development teams to run AI-assisted seismic fluid/reservoir detection and integrating these results into analysis.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quantitative Interpretations for Exploration or Development.
- Preference for experience with IOC / NOC companies.

Potential travel to the USA or Poland may be required.
The Data Analyst will participate in team meetings with the USA office. Standard work hours are 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with an expectation to work within EU time zones.
