Consultant / Senior Consultant – Professional Services Operations & Methodology

Location: UK (Remote with occasional London travel)

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist consultancy supporting professional services firms with growth, operational improvement and value creation. As the firm expands, we are seeking a Consultant / Senior Consultant to strengthen delivery capability and help make our work more scalable, repeatable and IP-rich.

This role blends hands-on client delivery with the opportunity to shape methodologies, codify knowledge and embed AI tools into day-to-day consulting work. It is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, consulting experience, and an interest in how professional services firms operate.

Within 12–18 months, success looks like : consistently strong contribution across multiple engagements, improving methodologies, building great client relationships, and becoming someone the senior team can rely on.

• Support end-to-end delivery across workshops, research, analysis and client outputs.
• Help structure projects and maintain smooth delivery.
• Work closely with partners and senior team members on client interactions.

• Document and refine frameworks, templates and delivery approaches.
• Improve repeatability and structure across services.
• Use AI tools to enhance quality, speed and consistency of delivery.
• Capture and codify knowledge from senior colleagues.

• Support research, drafting and preparation of external content.
• Help ensure consistent and timely production of thought leadership.

• Experience in consulting with hands-on exposure to client delivery.
• Understanding of consulting operations such as resourcing, PSA, CRM or project governance.
• Interest in consulting operations, PSA systems and delivery process improvement.
• Strong analytical, research and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail; highly organised and proactive.
• Comfortable working directly with senior clients and stakeholders.

• Practical experience using AI tools in a professional environment.
• Experience contributing to thought leadership or content creation.

• Curious, thoughtful and committed to producing high-quality work.
• Collaborative, practical and willing to take responsibility.
• Interested in how professional services firms operate and how the consulting industry is evolving.

• UK-based with right to work in the UK.
• Home-based with London time 2–3 times per month.
• Willingness to travel for client work when required.
