Job summary
A leading technology recruitment company is looking for an experienced ETL Data Engineer specializing in Talend to work remotely. The role focuses on ETL processes, Data Quality, and requires proficiency in various database technologies and programming languages. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in data modeling and job scheduling tools. This position is outside IR35.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Talend for ETL processes and Data Quality.
- Work with Snowflake and various database technologies.
- Engage in data modeling related to Data Warehouses and Marts.
Skills
My client is seeking an experienced data engineer with experience in using Talend for ETL processes and also for Data Quality.
This role is 100% remote and sits Outside of IR35
- Experience in an ETL toolset (Talend, Pentaho, SAS DI, Informatica etc)
- Snowflake
- Experience in a Database (Oracle, RDS, Redshift, MySQL, Hadoop, Postgres, etc)
- Experience in data modelling (Data Warehouse, Marts)
- Job Scheduling toolset (Job Scheduler, TWS, etc)
- Programming and scripting languages (PL/SQL, SQL, Unix, Java, Python, Hive, HiveQL, HDFS, Impala, etc)
- Data virtualisation tools (Denodo)
- Reporting (Pentaho BA, Power BI, Business Objects)
- Data Analytics toolset (SAS Viya)
- Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- ALM Tooling (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- CI/CD toolsets (Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible)
