A Japanese company is currently recruiting a Finance Assistant to work in their team in London.

1. Accounting (cash management):
   • Property project funding management
   • Receivables and disbursements management
   • Expense reimbursement
2. Financial closing:
   • Bookkeeping (liaising with bookkeeping company)
   • Compilation of accrued expenses recording
   • Support for quarterly (JGAAP) and annual (UKGAAP & JGAAP) closing
   • Support for audit response
3. J-SOX/Internal audit related:
   • Liaise with subcontractor and Tokyo head office on annual J-SOX/Internal audit
4. Other administrative work:
   • Document management
   • Travel arrangements
   • IT support
   • Survey work and document preparation

• Experience in accounting and working in a Japanese company is advantageous
• Experience with Sage preferred
• Business level fluency in English and Japanese
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Work type: Hybrid working available

- Salary: £35-40K depending on experience + Discretionary Bonus

- Working hours: 9:00-17:00, Monday to Friday (±1 hour flexitime)

- Start date: ASAP

- Location: Central London
